Check In process

1. The centre checkin and proceedings occur as shown in NEET website. (http://www.nbe.gov.in/neetpg/testproceed.php)

 

2. Documents required: Hall ticket (attested), MCI/SMC Registration (or equivalent) with it's photocopy, original Photo ID

 

 

Exam procedure

1. After being seated at your computer station, candidate can watch a 15 minute tutorial of the online test before starting the test as per the supervisors announcement. 

 

2. Candidate can change answers any number of times before submitting the test. After the scheduled 3 hours if the candidate has not submitted test, the system will automatically submit the test. 

 

 

Exam pattern

1. MCQ's were straightforward and single line type with enough time to complete. 

 

2. Overall, majority of the questions from topics in MBBS curriculum and those stressed during MBBS university exams. 

 

3. The distribution of questions today were in line with that announced by NEET. Minor differences due to subject overlap. 

 

4. Clinical vignettes asked were pretty much basic and could be answered without too much pondering over the options. 

 

5. Numercials: Today, value based questions were less compared to many DNB-CET papers. 

 

6. Picture based questions: There were no picture based questions. 

 

 

In short: The first day's exams had questions based on basics and if you are wondering on what to revise in the days ahead, we would suggest you to revise what you were planning to with emphasis on the basics. The advanced topics from the MCQ books and many mock exams conducted by third parties can be boldly skipped.
